Our mini-pine flake is made from 100% pure soft wood pine. This particular soft pine wood allows us to mill the wood and create a pine flake that has exceptional ammonia control and absorption properties compared to the various other pine wood that is available in other areas of the United States and Canada. Our product is kiln dried to 6% moisture content which is the lowest in the industry. Many companies claim their product is kiln dried but it is actually dried on a roller type system. Our kiln dried product produces a mini pine flake that is superior in dryness. In the manufacturing process, our mini pine flakes are screened multiple times to produce a product that is virtually dust free. By doing this, it significantly reduces any respiratory problems that may occur with your horses. Absorption is a critical aspect when considering a bedding product. Our mini pine flake bedding will actually clump for easy removal and disposal. Our product is extremely easy to sift and because our flakes are kiln dried you will not have good bedding material stick to the manure causing less waste. Our mini pine flake bedding is created to be a dense product which allows the horse to have a nice cushion between the horses feet and the floor of the stall.
