Pine Pellet Bedding Our pine pellet is superior to what is available on the market today. Some manufacturers produce a pellet that is made from a combination of hardwoods and softwoods which can be potentially dangerous to your horse.
Like our mini pine flake shavings, our pellets are made of the exclusive soft pine wood. The pellets are steam compressed to remove all the tars, oils and other potential allergens. Unlike other pellets, they do not put off an offensive chemical odor.
Pellets are unique in their ability to expand up to 5x their size. Our recommendation is to put the pellets in areas where you know your horse eliminates urine and to put either the mini pine flake shaving or the medium blend on top. By doing this, it will result in less waste of bedding material and provide exceptional absorption.
